Start of the Summer..

Tomorrow I start my summer internship. I’m very very excited! I worked very hard to get to this point and this internship. I’ll be interning with the Fashion Department at a Hearst publication. I’m very nervous, my internship is with a major (& pretty exclusive) magazine but I’m more eager than anything. I am so excited and I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to learn more about the fashion industry and how a magazine is put together. I can’t lie, all year I’ve been so curious and spent a lot of time day dreaming about what it’s like, so now I finally get to find out!

I can’t wait to get there in the morning, the building (Hearst Tower) is beautiful..and huge! The best part is that it’s right by two of my favorite spots in New York. I get to see them every week until August, the set up is so perfect! I can’t stress enough how excited I am to learn whatever I can at this internship, I’ve never wanted to learn about something so badly. I hope I meet some great new people and learn great new things, and of course, go to some great new places and heights :-)
